Martina Hingis, who won the 2015 US Open mixed doubles title alongside Leander Paes, will be eager to win her second grand slam of the competition as she partners India's Sania Mirza in the finals of the women's doubles competition on Sunday at Artur Ashe Stadium in New York.

The Indo-Swiss pair will face fourth seed Casey Dellacqua and Yaroslava Shvedova for the title decider as they are eyeing back-to-back grand slam titles after winning Wimbledon in July.

Sania and Hingis have been in top form after deciding to join hands earlier in the year. Apart from winning Wimbledon, they emerged triumphant in Indian Wells and the Miami Open, amongst others. Their performances have been top notch, which also resulted in Sania attaining the world number one ranking in doubles.

The Indo-Swiss pair has been dominant in the US Open women's doubles competition, as they have not dropped a single set.

Sania and Hingis have been ruthless so far, though, their biggest test came in the quarter finals when they faced the ninth seed Chinese Taipei pair of Yung-Jan Chan and Hao-Ching Chan, who tested the top seeds in the first set. But they stood up to the task and won the game 7-6 (7-5) and 6-1. Else, their route to the finals has been very smooth.

However, Sania and Hingis' final opponent, Dellacqua and Shvedova have not had it easy as they were involved in a number of three setters. They have had their fare share of struggle in reaching the finals and they must be fully aware of the huge task, which stares at them in the finals.

Dellacqua and Shvedova need to play their best tennis if they are to have any hopes of clinching the US Open title -- which still looks an uphill task considering Sania and Hingis' dominance -- where the Indo-Swiss pair are an overall favourite.

Sania and Hingis seem to enjoy their time in the court, which is evident when they are seen smiling even if they commit silly errors. The chemistry between the two has helped them become a successful pair in the doubles competition. When it comes to sheer business, they put their heads down and make their racquets do all the talking.
