All roads to lead to Orlando, Florida, on Saturday, 19 December, when we witness the final UFC fight card of the calendar year 2015. UFC Fight Night: Dos Anjos vs Cowboy 2 will determine the Lightweight Champion of the world going into 2016.

Rafael dos Anjos, the current UFC lightweight title-holder, takes on "Cowboy" Donald Cerrone in the main event of the fight card for five rounds of battle inside the octagon. The co-main event of the fight card features a mega clash between heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Junior dos Santos.

The winner of the lightweight bout has an immense upper hand going into the next year, as UFC President Dana White has said newly-crowned Featherweight champion of the world Conor McGregor gets an immediate title shot if he decides to move to the lightweight division. Therefore, the prospect of tonight's winner facing the "Notorious" looms large.

Dos Anjos goes into his first title defence on Saturday; the Brazilian won the belt after defeating Anthony Pettits in the main event of UFC 185 in March. Cerrone, meanwhile, is the number 2 contender in the lightweight division, and he is on a massive eight-match winning streak in the octagon.

Both fighters met in August 2013 at UFC Fight Night in Indianapolis, and the Brazilian edged past the American with an unanimous decision. This time, Cerrone is looking to exact revenge of the loss.

"I feel like I've changed a lot," Cerrone said. "I've just worked on a couple new techniques and I'm gonna rip his mo****fu***** head off. I'm ready and I'm excited. It's a new me. I'm going out there and looking to finish him. First and second round I'm coming f****** hard. You're going to see a fast-starting Cowboy."

Stern words from the challenger haven't daunted the preparations of the champion, however. Dos Anjos has said his opponent has to work really hard to snatch the title from him on fight night.

"I did it the hard way. It took me 18 fights to get my belt," dos Anjos, who has a 24-7-0 record in MMA, said. "Like he [Cerrone] said, he don't give a s*** for the belt. It's how I supply my family and how I make my living. A guy who thinks like that isn't a guy who isn't going to take my belt away."

Main card and results from the official weigh-in:

Rafael dos Anjos (154.5) vs. Donald Cerrone (154.5)
