Two teams -- Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars -- in contrasting form are set for an important clash at the Dubai International Stadium on Monday. The match also happens to be the last one of the first phase of the Pakistan Super League.

Quetta Gladiators have been the standout team in the PSL, with three wins on the trotm while Lahore Qalandars, with two back-to-back losses, are struggling in the competition. When these two teams take the field on Monday, Quetta with their strong team and in-form players, will be huge favourites to win their fourth straight match.

Quetta have all their bases covered, with some quality players in both the batting and bowling department. In Luke Wright, Kevin Pietersen, Ahmed Shehzad and Sarfaraz Ahmed, they have a formidable batting lineup. With Wright in tremendous form, scoring runs consistently, Quetta have been given flying starts by the Englishman. Wright is the highest runscorer in the PSL, with 149 to his name.

The Quetta Gladiators bowlers have also been right up there, with Mohammad Nawaz being the pick of the bowlers, taking eight wickets so far. Even if Nawaz fails to deliver, they have Anwar Ali and Umar Gul to pick those wickets.

However the trio are aware of the tough task with ahead of them, considering Lahore have Chris Gayle, who is yet to hit top gear in the PSL, in the lineup. The Qalandars are highly dependent on the bating exploits of the left-hander, who has scored just six runs so far in the tournament. The West Indian is due for a big score, and if Gayle gets things straight, Lahore could well notch their first points of the PSL.

They do have the plenty of ammunition in the batting front to support Gayle, such as skipper Azhar Ali and Umar Akmal. It is just a matter of finding form at the right time for Lahore.
