During the course of four seasons of "The Mindy Project," fans have seen Mindy (Mindy Kaling) date quite a few guys are no good for her. Now that she seems to have made the right choice with Jody (Garret Dillahunt), things may fall apart.
After many months of romantic tension, Mindy and Jody finally kissed on the previously aired episode of "The Mindy Project." And the chemistry between the characters is so good that even those who want Mindy to get back together with Danny (Chris Messina) couldn't stop the butterflies from fluttering in their tummies.
However, the promise of their relationship may be snatched away from us soon, if the synopsis for the upcoming "Freedom Tower Women's Health" is to be taken at face value. The official synopsis reads, "After Morgan and Jeremy visit Danny in his new office, Mindy is visited by an unexpected new patient; a dirty secret threatens a budding romance."

Coupling this information with the promo for the episode, we are pretty sure that the secret that potentially breaks up the couple will be Chlamydia. It is understood that Jody may have Chlamydia and this information is too much for Mindy to deal with.
Now, another threat to the relationship could also be Danny, who according to Morgan (Ike Barinholtz), threatened Jody and forbade him from seeing Mindy. It remains to be seen if Mindy and Jody's love can survive all these obstacles.

Meanwhile, Hulu has renewed "The Mindy Project" for Season 5, which will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 4.
