"Kakki Sattai" is the latest film to follow the trend of releasing motion posters. Earlier, the first-look posters of new films have received grand response from the fans. Of late, filmmakers have shown interest in releasing the first look as a motion poster with exclusive theme music. Following the tremendous response for "Kaththi" and "Lingaa" motion posters, several makers have resorted to follow suit.
Whether "Kakki Sattai" motion poster manages to create hype is something one needs to wait and watch.
Directed by Durai Senthil Kumar, "Kakki Sattai" is touted as an action comedy entertainer with all the commercial elements. This is the second time that Sivakarthikeyan has teamed up with director Durai Senthil Kumar after the stupendous success of "Ethir Neechal". The actor will be seen portraying the role of a police officer for the first time in "Kakki Sattai." Sri Divya plays the female lead, while Prabhu, Manobala, Vidyulekha Raman, Imman Annachi and Vijay Raaz are also part of the film's cast.
The film's cinematography is handled by Sukumar and editing is done by GMT Cops. Dhanush's Wunderbar Films is producing the action comedy entertainer and will be distributed by Escape Artist Motion Pictures.
The audio launch of "Kakki Sattai" is expected to happen on 10 December and the film's teaser or the trailer is expected to be released during the audio launch. An official confirmation regarding the music release date is still awaited.
Sivakarthieyan has been on a roll with back-to-back box office hits. It needs to be seen if "Kakki Sattai" also joins the hit league. The film is expected to hit the screens by December 2014 or next year. An official word on the release date is still awaited.
