Bolivia will be taking on Peru in the Quarter Final 2 of Copa America 2015 at Estadio Municipal Bicentenario Germán Becker in Temuco on 25 June.

No one would have thought that Bolivia would come this far in this tourament, but they have managed to sneak into the knock-out stages of Copa America 2015. They were placed second behind their group leaders Chile. They registered a surprise win over Ecuador in the group stage and managed to end a game in a stalemate against Mexico.

Bolivia had never won a match in the Copa America since 1997 until they beat Ecuador this year. But it will be an uphill task for Mauricio Soria's men to win against the the Peruvians.

"We have to take it like it's our last match. We cannot afford to make any mistakes and make sure that every time we get forward we make it count in order to reach the next round. It's the biggest game of my life but I hope to have others, and better. We want to play a great match and represent the country as everyone would hope for," said Soria.

"Peru is a team which has progressed a lot and quickly thanks to their coach Ricardo Gareca. They have a lot of virtues and experienced players like Claudio Pizarro and Paolo Guerrero. They are fast and we will try to put as many obstacles as possible up to prevent their qualities and try to bring out our own," he added.

Meanwhile, Peru are coming into this quarter final game against Bolivia after a goal-less draw with Colombia. They also won their game against Venzuela. As a result, they finished in the second place in a tough group where the likes of Brazil and Colombia were present.

Peru are definitely the favourites to sail into the semi final of Copa America 2015, but coach Gareca is not taking Bolivia lightly. He also did not disclose about what his playing XI is likely to be against Bolivia. If Peruvians goes on to win this match, then in the semi final, they will be up against Chile, which beat Uruguay 1-0 in the Quarter Final 1 of the tournament on Wednesday.

"We set the goal of qualifying from the group phase, and we achieved it. Now we're going to go step by step. We've got everything focused on the match Thursday, then we'll see if we advance. To the people, we ask that they might have faith. I see an incredible attitude from them.

"Have confidence in this group that we're going to leave everything on the field of play to get through. The message is that we're good in all aspects, we were never favourites, we're only thinking in playing a good match," Gareca said on Wednesday.
