Like the previous season, The Big Bang Theory Season 10 finale will also end with a cliffhanger, and if spoilers doing the rounds are true, then Amy and Sheldon are in deep trouble when we see the duo.
The Season 10 finale is titled The Long Distance Dissonance and it will see Dr. Ramona Nowitzki returning. Ramona is a former admirer of Sheldon and she is set to stir trouble between Sheldon and his longtime partner Amy. Watch the Season 10 finale, which will go on air on May 11, live on CBS at 8 pm ET. The episode can also be watched online via the CBS app.
The synopsis for the final episode reads: "On the Season 10 finale, Sheldon's former admirer, Dr. Ramona Nowitzki, turns up while Amy is visiting Princeton, and the gang is extremely concerned."
The Big Bang Theory showrunner Steven Molaro recently opened up to TVGuide.com about the Season 10 finale, and said it shows how the whole gang comes together during a crucial time.
"What I love about this finale is it really focuses on all of the gang as a family, as a group supporting each other. Everybody has lots of fun stuff to do. I think it's funny and fast-paced and ends with a real wallop," he said.
"We try to do things that keep us excited and nervous, and I think that helps us keep the show fresh. I think this episode is among them. There's an outsider floating around Sheldon and making a real play for him while Amy's gone. There are a lot of exciting things in play," the showrunner added.
The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS.
