South Africa would look to seal the two-match T20 series with another win over Bangladesh.Reuters

Bangladesh are all set to take on South Africa in the second T20 match at Sher-e-Bangla International Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, on Tuesday.

After suffering a heavy defeat in the first match of the two-match T20 series by 52 runs, the Bangla Tigers would be raring to go out on the field and take on the professional Proteas players.

The Faf du Plessis-led South Africa side showcased an all-round performance to comepletely outclass Bangladesh in the first T20 match that happened on Sunday. Du Plessis set an example for the rest of the side and led from the front. He stayed till the end of the 20 overs and scored 79 runs from just 61 balls to propel his side to a total of 148 runs on what was considered to be a difficult wicket to bat on.

Bangladeshi batsmen were clueless when they came out to bat in the second half of the match. Their wickets kept on tumbling one after the other when they had to build a partnership in order to get those runs. Shakib al-Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim showed some resistance and 36 runs were added by the duo.

On the other hand, AB de Villiers came out to open the innings alongside Quinton de Kock in the first T20 match. The batting order is unlikely to change. Du Plessis is likely to go with the same team in the second match as well.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh star performer during the India series, Mustafizur Rahman, could not make any impact in the first game. The way he was handled by most of the Proteas batsmen was incredible and especically Du Plessis. This would be point of concern for Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza ahead of the ODI series against South Africa.

JP Duminy yet again proved his worth as one of the best all-rounder's in the world. He picked up two quick wickets and gave away just 11 runs in his four allotted overs in the first match. He would look to come up with a similar performance in the second T20 match as well.

Mortaza had regreted his side's loss at the post-match press ocnference in Mirpur. He felt that the batsmen should be more sensible when it comes to chasing a small total on a difficult pitch. He also opined that partnerships are crucial in this format of the game and that hurt Bangladesh badly in the first T20 match.

Bangladesh is also likley to go with an unchanged team in the second T20 international against South Africa. One can expect this match to be a close encounter as it will not be that easy for the Proteas to overpower the Bangla Tigers when they are wounded already.
