Lebanon-born, Dubai-based supercar maker W Motors unveiled Fenyr Supersport supercar at the 2015 Dubai International Motor Show, which started on Tuesday (10 November). The new supercar is the second model from the first Middle East-based supercar manufacturer that shot to fame with its first car, the Lykan Hypersport.

According to W Motors, the new supercar focuses purely on performance, power and speed. Limited to only 25 units per year, the whole body of Fenyr Supersport is made of carbon-fibre and complemented by a tubular light-weight aluminium chassis.

The design of the Fenyr Supersport is the evolution from Lykan Hypersport. It features same angular edges and flamboyant detailing on each body part. The new car features lightweight forged alloys on 20/21 inches front/rear, which is tamed with ceramic composite brakes. The Fenyr Supersport uses McPherson-struts suspension on the front axle and a multi-link suspension with coilover shocks on the rear with anti-roll bars on for all four tyres.

The Fenyr Supersport is powered by a custom-made, flat six cylinder, 4.0-litre twin-turbo, mid-rear engine mated to a seven-speed double clutch gearbox, delivering 900bhp and 1200Nm of torque. W Motors claims the new car is able to run 0 to 100kmph in less than 2.7 seconds and a top speed exceeding 400kmph.

The Fenyr Supersport was built in collaboration with Magna Steyr Italy and RUF Automobile, and becomes the Arab world's second supercar. The first supercar of W motors, the Lykan Hypersport was limited to just seven units and the car is featured in the film Furious 7, the seventh and latest instalment of Fast and Furious series.

W Motors is yet to announce the price of the Fenyr Supersport. Going by the trend of its sibling, which was priced approximately at Rs 22.58 crore, the new super car will likely be more expensive.
