Volvo V40 Hatchback Launched in India; Price, Feature Details [PHOTOS]

Swedish car-maker Volvo has launched its hatchback V40 in India with a price tag of ₹24.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Volvo V40, which shares similarities with V40 Cross Country, is offered in two trims in the country - Volvo base and R-Design. Under the hood, both the variants of Volvo V40 pack the same 2.0-litre turbo-charged diesel mill that is tuned to churn out 148bhp power and 350Nm torque with six-speed automatic gearbox.

To be pitted against BMW 1 Series and Mercedes-Benz B-Class in India, Volvo V40 gets features like climate control system, auto bending headlights, panoramic roof and Adaptive Digital Display Console. In addition to this, the R-design variant of the model features panoramic sunroof, rain sensor, park assist pilot and key-less drive.
