"The Voice" US Season 8 will be in for some shocker with Live Playoffs having being wrapped up on Tuesday. A total of eight contestants, two from each team will be sent home during the elimination round on Wednesday, which means the number of participants will be trimmed from 20 to 12.
The top 20 contestants put up impressive performances in the Live Playoffs this week but some of them have to leave the show tonight.
"The Voice" US Season 8 Live Playoffs results episode will be telecast on NBC Television at 8:00 pm EST, Wednesday (6.30 am IST, Thursday) and it will be live streamed online on NBC's official website.

There could be some surprising element on the elimination night, as some of the initial favourites like Sonic, Lexi, Nathan, Brooke and others could be in danger of being eliminated.
