The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selectors are all set to announce the squad for India's tour of Bangladesh in Mumbai on Wednesday.

The selectors are likely to select an experienced squad for this tour with Virat Kohli set to lead the side in the one-off Test.

BCCI had announced earlier that the All-India Senior Selection Committee will meet to select the squad for the tour of Bangladesh that is scheduled to be begin on 10 June.

However, none of the senior players had informed the selection committee, which is headed by the Sandeep Patil, that they would stand out from this tour, reported The Times of India.

Earlier a BCCI official had said that they might recall the fabulous four -- Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh -- for this tour to Bangladesh. As the selectors are thinking on the lines of picking an experienced squad for the tour, there is a possibility of including these four veterans.

Bengal pacer Mohammed Shami is likely to miss out on the tour because of an injury and Dhawal Kulkarni might replace him. The other pacers likely to be included are Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ishant Sharma. Ravichandran Ashwin is likely to lead the spin attack, with Ravindra Jadeja to assist him.

Shikhar Dhawan, Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are likely to form the batting line-up. Suresh Raina might not find a place in Test squad. The last time Raina played a Test for India, he got out for ducks in both the innings during their tour to Australia.

As MS Dhoni has retired from the longer format of the game after the third Test in Melbourne earlier this year, he will not be featuring in the Test squad, but he is likely to lead the squad for the three One-Day Internationals that are supposed to be played in Mirpur.

Bengal wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha is likely to exchange the gloves with MS Dhoni behind the stumps for the longer format as he seems to be the ideal replacement.
