Power couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli never fail to serve major couple goals. Recently, Virat dropped adorable photos with Anushka from their New Year's Eve celebrations and again on New Year's Day, surprising fans. This marked the first time he shared two loved-up pictures with Anushka within a span of just 24 hours. Needless to say, fans couldn't stop gushing as Virat didn't shy away from PDA.

Six days later, on January 7, 2026, Wednesday, Virat Kohli touched down in Mumbai and turned heads with his stylish airport look. What caught everyone's attention was his navy blue cardigan, which featured Anushka Sharma's initials,  an A along with a heart stitched on it.

Truly, Virat wore his heart on his sleeve.

He paired the cardigan with a blue T-shirt and sky-blue jeans. Virat was seen greeting paparazzi and fans, happily obliging for selfies. He was all smiles and visibly blushing as he proudly flaunted the cardigan bearing Anushka's initials. Fans in no time took to social media, praising the cricketer for his sweet gesture.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had welcomed the New Year in Dubai, where the celebrity couple was also seen posing with restaurant staff on New Year's Eve. Kohli later greeted fans on New Year's Day by sharing a photo from their holiday. In the picture, the couple posed with their faces painted in colours. Captioning the post, Virat wrote, "Stepping into 2026 with the light of my life."

Virat Kohli recently made his much-anticipated return to the Vijay Hazare Trophy, featuring in List A cricket for the first time in 15 years. The former India captain has looked in imperious touch, following up a superb 131 with a fluent 77 in his two outings. During this run, Kohli also crossed the 16,000-run mark in List A cricket, becoming the fastest player to reach the milestone and surpassing Sachin Tendulkar's long-standing record.

Virat Kohli was initially expected to play another Vijay Hazare Trophy match for Delhi on January 6, but opted against featuring in the game held in Alur, near Bengaluru.
