Vijay's fans were unhappy after the first look of "Puli" was not released for Tamil New Year on Tuesday, 14 April. But here is good news for them as one of the looks of the actor is out on the internet.
The official Facebook fan page of Vijay has released a look of the actor in his forthcoming Tamil movie "Puli". The Ilayathalapathy is seen wearing a traditional vesthi with shirt in the photo. The actor looks simple yet leaves a positive impression. However, the picture does not give away any hint about the role Vijay is playing in the film.

It is said that the first look was initially planned for Tamil New Year release. But later the makers changed their mind as they wanted to maintain suspense about the Vijay's role in the movie and to build curiosity about the project. However, it is now said that the first look might be released next month and the exact date has not been finalised yet.
"Puli" is a high-budget Tamil movie directed by Chimbudevan. The estimated budget of the movie is ₹90 crore. As it is a fantasy-adventure movie, the budget of the film is sky high. The movie is bankrolled by Shibu of Thameen Films and PT Selva Kumar.
Recently, Vijay's introduction song was shot in a lavish set worth ₹5 crore, which is the most expensive track of the actor and over 200 carpenters worked day and night to create the set.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the movie might release for Vijay's birthday in June. However, in that case the makers are running short of time as the shooting is yet to complete and the post-production work is expected to take quite some time.
"Puli" has Kannada superstar Sudeep, Shruti Haasan, Hansika Motwani and yesteryear actress Sridevi in key roles.
