It was quite an eventful Day 4 of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. India skipper MS Dhoni failed to impress with the bat yet again when Jharkhand took on Kerala on Sunday.

Although, he did not end up on the losing side, his form with the bat will be a concern ahead of India's tour of Australia. One might be just forced to believe that he doesn't have that touch in him anymore. He top-scored with 44 runs in the last game, but could not power his side to a victory. At the end of the day, Jharkhand defeated Kerala by five wickets as Saurabh Tiwary was the star of the show.

The most shocking match of the day was between Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. The latter were bundled out for a meagre 75 runs. Harshal Patel claimed a five-for and leggie Amit Mishra strangled the opposition further with a hat-trick. It took very little time for Patel to finish the game off with the willow as well, Haryana thereby winning the match by 10 wickets.

Gautam Gambhir, who is captaining the Delhi side, scored a gritty half-century and powered his side to victory against Odisha. It was rather easy for the Delhi boys on Day 4 of the Vijay Hazare trophy.

Kedar Jadhav of Maharashtra slammed a fantastic ton against Tripura. Jadhav played attacking cricket right from the start of his innings and ended up scoring 131 runs from just 90 balls. His innings was decorated with 17 fours and three huge sixes. In reply, Tripura crumbled for a total of 183 runs.

Bengal lost to Uttar Pradesh by four wickets. It was a tight game as the momentum kept switching sides throughout the match until the UP boys finally got the better of Wriddhiman Saha and Co.

Gujarat defeated Railways in a scintillating encounter by four wickets. Axar Patel smashed 75 runs from just 59 balls to take his home side over the line on Day 4 of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Gujarat won the match with just two balls to spare.

Mumbai handed a crushing defeat to Assam, winning their encounter by a margin of 96 runs. Dhawal Kulkarni was ths star of the show as he picked four wickets, giving away just 19 runs in his 10-over spell.

Punjab managed to beat a star-studded Tamil Nadu side by six wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin did not have as much of an impact in this game as he was expected to.

Baroda were completely outclassed by Vidarbha by seven wickets. On the other hand, Madhya Pradesh got the better of Goa easily. Hyderabad could not get the better of Services as they lost by five wickets.
