Vidya Balan’s Wedding Guest List Includes Bachchans, Ekta Kapoor And R Balki Among Others

"The Dirty Picture" actress Vidya Balan is all set to tie the knot with long-time boyfriend Siddharth Roy Kapoor.

After Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's royal wedding in October, another grand wedding ceremony of Vidya and beau Siddharth is set to take place in December.

Though the couple has maintained silence about their impending nuptials, sources have revealed that the wedding preparations are in full swing.

The 34-year-oild actress will marry Siddharth, CEO of UTV Motion Pictures, on Dec 14 at a South Indian Temple in Mumbai.

The wedding ceremony will start with a Punjabi-style sangeet ceremony on Dec 11, which will be followed by a Tamil-style wedding on Dec 14.

"Siddharth and Vidya both want to keep it very private so she's inviting only very very close friends and family," Hindustan Times quoted a friend of Balan's sister as saying.

Apart from the guest list, sources also revealed details about who is wearing what .

According to reports, the bride-to-be is getting her entire bridal wear designed by her favourite designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Sabyasachi will also design 18 silk saris for the trousseau and her family in traditional wedding colours.

"All the saris will be in pure Chennai silk and he is himself going to Chennai to source the silk. In Tamil weddings, there's a change in sari for different rituals during the wedding so she has two bridal saris, both warm-shaded silks and Sabya's doing some exquisite work on them. The cholis will be very traditional," HT quoted a source as saying.

Among the celebrites expected at the grand day include Amitabh Bachchan and his family, filmmakers Milan Luthria, Vishal Bharadwaj, Rajkumar Gupta and R Balki, Ekta and Tusshar Kapoor, and designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee among others.

Vidya and Siddharth have been in a steady relationship for the last two years and the actress is often seen with him at private parties.
