Videocon Mobiles has launched its 7-inch tablet VT75C with a price tag of ₹6,499.

The company's latest Android powered tablet comes with a 7-inch screen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels and is powered by a 1GHz processor. The tablet which supports full HD video comes enabled with voice calling and packs a memory of 512MB RAM along with 4GB internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card.

"The time has arrived for hybrid devices to rule the telecommunications market, and hence we have developed the Videocon VT 75C calling tablet. This brings together the calling features of a smartphone with the entertainment features of a tablet thereby bringing the best of both the worlds to the discerning customer. Our continuous effort is to bring innovative products to the masses. and to enable the consumer to consolidate  his or her many needs via a single 'smart' device," said Khalid Zamir, Head Product Planning & Development, Videocon Mobile Phone at the launch.

Besides this, the device comes with preinstalled apps such as Saavn, The Times of India app, Facebook, Skype, Diamond Twister, ET News, Movie Studio and many more. The tablet houses a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera backed by a 3,000mAh battery. It supports connectivity features like WIFI, Bluetooth and packs and support for 2G and 3G via dongle. 

The device comes in black and white colour variants and will be available for purchase through online retailers. Earlier this week, online retailers like Infibeam and Flipkart listed the device on their websites for sub ₹6,000.
