Videocon Mobile has rolled out another budget smartphone called Videocon A27 into the Indian technology market for ₹5,999.

The A27 smartphone boasts a 4.0-inch WVGA capacitive touch screen and is powered by a 1GHz Broadcomm processor. Other specifications and features include Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, 3-megapixel rear-facing camera, VGA secondary camera, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage capacity (expandable up to 32GB). On the connectivity front, the device features 3.75G, Wi-Fi, 802.11b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS and A2DP Bluetooth 3.0.

The A27 smartphone also features dual SIM-dual standby and comes with preloaded applications such as TOI, ET, Facebook, Saavn, Fun Zone and Movie Studio. The device comes in black and white colour variants and can be purchased online.

The Indian smartphone market is seeing an influx of low-cost but feature-packed devices. Besides global smartphone manufactures, indigenous makers are also gaining popularity among consumers in the country.
