The audio album of Ajith's "Vedalam"or "Vedhalam" has garnered good response from the audience and critics.

The songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander have evoked a thumping response not just from the actor's fans but also from the general audience. The young music director has played it to the gallery as the album is aimed at masses.

There are five songs in the "Vedalam" album and at least three tracks have managed to woo the listeners. "Don't you mess with me" has been widely appreciated by the youths even though a section of the audience have not liked the track.

"Uyir Nadhi Kalangudhae" has been liked by the classical music lovers and "Aaluma Doluma" number has become a new anthem of Ajith's fans.

However, people had pinned high expectations from Anirudh Ravichander. Considering that the youth sensation had given a chartbuster album like "Kaththi", music lovers were expecting him to do a better work than Vijay's film. But the early response emerging on social media website does not show any sign of it.
