There have been reports that producer and actor Udhayanidhi Stalin had insulted Ajith, who is getting ready for the release of "Vedalam". However, he has denied those claims and said that he has huge respect for the "Mankatha" star.

Udhayanidhi Stalin was attacked by Ajith Kumar's fans on Twitter following rumours that the producer had passed a comment on the actor. Reacting to the speculations, he tweeted, "The news that I insulted Thala Ajith sir in Twitter is just rubbish! I have great respect towards him! Pls stop spreading false news!" 

The producer-turned-actor also requested media to verify things with him before publishing reports based on speculations. Udhayanidhi Stalin wrote, "Request websites to pls recheck and verify wit me b4 carrying a news abt me or my film! Pls!" His clarification has put an end to the rumours.

On the other hand, the audio teaser of "Aaluma Dolma" song from "Vedalam" was released on Wednesday, 14 October, along with the track list of the forthcoming Tamil movie. The teaser video-clip has won the hearts of the actor's fans.

Meanwhile, the makers will release the film's audio on Friday, 16 October to coincide with Anirudh Ravichander's birthday. The film has five songs for which Vishal Dadlani, Shruti Haasan, Shaktishree Gopalan, Ravishankar, Badhsha along with music director Anirudh Ravichander have lent their voices. Vivek, Madhan Karky and G Rokesh have penned lyrics for the tracks.

This will be the first major development from "Vedalam", which is taking place on a Friday. So far, the first look and all other releases happened on Thursdays as the producer AM Rathnam is a devotee of Sai Baba.

Meanwhile, Ajith is busy dubbing for his character in "Vedalam", which has Shruti Haasan in the female lead role. The Siruthai Siva directorial movie will release for Diwali.
