Taking to Instagram, Shamita shared photos and videos from her intimate birthday bash. However, one birthday message and post grabbed attention and sparked fresh dating rumours involving the actress. Techno music artist and entrepreneur Deepesh Sharma shared several pictures from Shamita's birthday celebration on social media.
He captioned the photos, "Happy Birthday to my forever laughter riot. To the one who knows all my stories & still sticks around. Love you, my Shamster."
In response, Shamita commented, "Aww," accompanied by red heart emojis.
The post quickly went viral, with fans speculating that Shamita has found love again. As the news spread, Shamita Shetty took to her Instagram handle and clarified that she is 'single'. Quashing the rumours, Shamita wrote, "Single and peaceful. Stop being prudes misconstruing genuine friendships. Such utter nonsense."
The rumours surfaced after Shamita's past link-up and breakup with actor Raqesh Bapat in 2022. Shamita was earlier dating Raqesh Bapat. The two met and fell in love on Bigg Boss OTT but parted ways in July 2022. Shamita later participated in Bigg Boss 15, with Raqesh joining the show a few weeks after her.
Earlier, Shamita had slammed a troll for shaming her for being 'unmarried at 50'. One of the comments on her post read, "Buddy Shetty 50 years have passed and there is no man."
