American two-wheeler manufacturer UM Motorcycles is reportedly set to commence the delivery of its Renegade cruiser range in India in June. The range, which includes Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport S, were launched in India at the Auto Expo 2016.

According to a report of Motoroids, UM Motorcycles, which has already bagged over 1,000 bookings for its Renegade range in the country within two months of its launch, will deliver the first lot of 500 units of the motorcycles in June. The second batch of 500 units will be out in July. Sources were quoted as saying in the report that the UM Motorcycles' dealerships will be operational by the end of April, and the test rides of the range are expected to begin in May. UM Motorcycles has set up 25 dealerships across the country.

The Renegade Commando and the Renegade Sport S have been respectively priced at Rs.1.59 lakh and Rs.1.49 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Both the Renegade Commando and the Sport S draw power from a 280cc single-cylinder water cooled engine that can develop 25bhp of power at 8,500rpm and 21.8Nm of torque at 7,000rpm, teamed with six-speed transmission. While the Commando is offered in three colours — black shine, green matt and grey matt — the Sports S comes in shiny black, orange and red colour options.

The Renegade Commando measures 2257mm in length, 1140mm in height, 780mm in width and has wheelbase of 1545mm. On the other hand, the Renegade Sport S measures 2227mm in length, 1140mm in height, 780mm in width and has wheelbase of 1545mm.

Meanwhile, a report of MotorOctane claims that the third offering of the American two-wheeler maker — Renegade Classic, which was showcased at the company's pavilion at the Auto show in February will also be launched in India around the same time in June. The Renegade Classic is priced at Rs.1.69 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
