The fight card for UFC 213, which is scheduled to take place on July 8, seems to be getting better and better with many big names getting added to the list. UFC Bantamweight Championship Cody Garbrandt is set to put his title on the line for the first time since he won it after defeating Dominick Cruz at UFC 207 against T.J. Dillashaw.

As of now, this is the only title fight announced, but a slew of UFC bigwigs will take stage on the night in Las Vegas as part of UFC International Fight Week. Former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis is set to go up against Jim Miller, who holds the record for the most wins in the lightweight division.

Meanwhile, two more high-profile bouts were also added to the fight card recently. Former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler is set to get back inside the octagon for the first time since Tyron Woodley knocked him out at UFC 201. The former champ will go up against Donald Cerrone.

The two were set to fight at UFC 205 but the match was called off as Lawler needed more time to recover from his loss to Woodley. Since then, Cerrone has fought twice; first against Matt Brown, which he won via knockout, and next against Jorge Masvidal, which he lost. This is set to be an interesting fight as both fighters head into the bout on the back of a loss.

The next big bout added to the UFC 213 fight card was from the heavyweight division and it involves Fabricio Werdum and Alistair Overeem. Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos are set to fight it out for the heavyweight title at UFC 211. While there is no official word, reports suggest the winner of the Werdum-Overeem fight could get a shot at the heavyweight title.

The fight between Werdum and Overeem will be the third between the two, but a first in the UFC. The veterans first met at Pride Total Elimination Absolute in 2006 which Werdum won via submission. The second meeting was at Strikeforce in 2011 for the heavyweight belt which Overeem won via unanimous decision.

Finally, there is one more fight on the cards at UFC 213 as latest reports suggest UFC women's bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes will defend her title against Valentina Shevchenko. The UFC has not made any official announcement about the fight but with Shevchenko being the no.1 contender, the fight could happen.

The fight between Nunes and Shevchenko is set to be the second between the two with the first fight coming at UFC 196 last year. Nunes won the fight via unanimous decision. This is set to be the Brazilian's second title defence since she won the title after defeating Miesha Tate. Her first title defence was against former champion Ronda Rousey who she defeated in 48 seconds.
