Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor recently shared a video, in which he enacted one of the best scenes from "Udta Punjab" trailer. The handsome hunk plays rockstar Tommy Singh in the movie, which is slated to be released on June 17.
Shahid shared the crazy video on Instagram and mimicked Satish Kaushik in it. He did the scene in which Diljit Dosanjh and other cops came to Satish's place to ask for Shahid's character Tommy. As Satish tried to convince the cops that Tommy had left for London, the rockstar came out of the room screaming. This particular moment left the viewers in splits, and so will Shahid's video.
The "Haider" actor has mesmerised fans in the trailer of "Udta Punjab," in which he gets involved in a drug-related controversy. Recently, the film's first song, "Chitta Ve," which features Shahid, was released. Apart from Shahid and Diljit, the Abhishek Chaubey film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt.
Kareena plays a doctor's character who has sacrificed her easy-going life to move to Punjab to tackle the drug menace. And, Alia plays a migrant from Bihar and she comes to Punjab in search of work, but ends up becoming a victim of drug trafficking.
It had earlier been reported that Shahid, Alia and Kareena were so impressed with the storyline of "Udta Punjab" that they charged half of their fees from the makers. Their only request was to not let the word out, since that could possibly affect their remuneration for other films.
In other news, Shahid will also appear in Vishal Bhardwaj's "Rangoon," alongside Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut. Meanwhile, watch Shahid's hilarious video here:
Shahid was recently spotted at Maldives, where he was on a vacation with his pregnant wife Mira Rajput. The actor revealed about Mira's pregnancy during the trailer launch of "Udta Punjab."
