New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): Acknowledging its victory in Delhi assembly polls, AAP leader Yogendra Yadav addressed the party workers outside AAP office. Yadav said that the AAP is leading with great numbers and that the party has swept the polls like he predicted earlier. Yadav also talked about the importance of opposition in the democracy and said that there should be a few seats left for the BJP. The AAP office is filled with celebrations, dance, song etc. and the party workers including Kumar Vishwas shook legs on the trending 'Paanch saal Kejriwal'.

Pakistani tourists laud Indian government's speedy clearances to bus service between two nations

Poonch, Feb 10 (ANI): Pakistani residents, arriving in Jammu and Kashmir state by bus service, lauded Indian government for giving speedy clearances to them. The bus service between Rawalakot and Poonch district was first launched in 2005 to facilitate relations between the two nations. People coming from Pakistan to India said that they were happy as the latter provided clearances in a swift manner, saying they could meet their relatives after 63 years. Another resident of Pakistan, Nazam Abdul, reiterated Rashid's sentiment. Abdul added that she would love to visit India again. This bus service has been suspended in the past at several occasions owing to tensions between India and Pakistan at the border.

BJP suffers major setback in Delhi polls, says 'will accept mandate'

New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): With the latest trends suggesting a splendid win for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi Assembly polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday said that it would accept the public mandate and prepare to sit in the opposition. Meanwhile, BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi also congratulated AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and urged him to turn the capital into "a world class city". "Full marks to Arvind. Congratulations. Now take Delhi to the heights it belongs to. Make it a world class city," she tweeted. As per the latest trends, the AAP is inching closer to government formation in Delhi with the party leading in 65 seats. The BJP is ahead in 4 seats while the Congress is trailing in all the 70 assembly seats.

Satish Upadhyay accepts defeat, says BJP failed to understand 'public mood'

New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): Delhi BJP unit President Satish Upadhyay on Tuesday said that his party accepted the public mandate and added that it failed to understand the mood and trust of the people of Delhi. Upadhyay said it seems to be a splendid victory for the AAP as per the trends. Politicos react on early trends of Delhi polls

New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday react on the early trends of the Delhi assembly polls. The Aam Aadmi Party appeared to be on its way to recapture power in the national capital with the party leading in 59 constituencies against 10 of BJP and Congress' one seat. AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that people of Delhi has called back the party and that they want those 49 days of government by AAP. BJP leader Shazia Ilmi said that winning is only half the game and that AAP will have to fulfill its promises too. Shahnawaz Hussain said that the party will rather wait for results than commenting. Congress leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi and Ajay Maken said that even if the party manages to gain even two seats, it will be better than the exit polls.

Tripura observes shutdown to protest twin murder

Unakoti, Feb 10 (ANI): People observed complete shutdown to protest twin murder in Tripura. Shops and institutions remain closed while roads bore deserted look in Unakoti district to seek justice for two local youths, who were found lying on a road. The bodies with head injuries were identified as Anjan Deb and Pallab Debnath. Police suspect that both were murdered somewhere else and left over there. Superintendent of Police L Darlong said investigation was underway to nab the culprits. Both Communist party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and opposition Congress party have supported the strike in the state.
