The LGBT community can trust the Lib Dems says MP Sir Simon Hughes

The UKs lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community can and should trust the Liberal Democrats, according to Sir Simon Hughes. The former justice minister, who lost his Bermondsey and Old Southwark seat at the 2015 general election to Labours Neil Coyle, told IBTimes UK that his party has been relentless in its pursuit of championing LGBT rights.

This Emmanuel Macron supporter didnt want election party to end

French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron had plenty of support as he celebrated topping the polls in the first round of elections on 23 April. However one Macron supporter just didn’t want the celebrations to end. A person was spotted dancing solo and waving a Macron poster in the almost empty En Marche! party headquarters. Several journalists attending the event spotted the lone dancer, tweeting videos and photos of the moment.

Whos in Lions 2017 squad?

Sam Warburton will captain the British and Irish Lions for a second consecutive series, after coach Warren Gatland unveiled his 41-man squad for the daunting tour of New Zealand this summer. The Wales flanker beat off competition from fellow countryman Alun Wyn Jones and Irelands Rory Best to become just the second man to skipper the team in two tours, after Martin Johnson in 1997 and 2001.The headline exclusion from the squad is the England captain Dylan Hartley, who joins the likes of Chris Robshaw and Steve Borthwick in being omitted despite being the leader of the richest Northern Hemisphere nation. The fulcrum of the Red Rose team, who won successive Six Nations, have also missed out including Joe Launchbury and George Ford, as well the fit-again Robshaw and James Haskell
