Bangalore, Nov 12 (ANI): Justice (Retd) N Santosh Hegde on Tuesday defended the Aam Aadmi Party saying that the party has received money from those who hold Indian passports. Although he did not oppose the probe against AAP, but questioned why wasn’t any investigation held against any existing political parties till now. Mesbahuddin ruled out any possibility of enmity between feuding parties, as tensions mount ahead of the general elections in Bangladesh. Recently, Bangladesh's main opposition party, the BNP, refused a request from the prime minister to form an all-party government to oversee upcoming elections, setting the stage for a showdown this week that could delay or even derail the polls altogether. Dhaka, Nov 12 (ANI): The ruling Awami League (AL) party in Bangladesh has started selling nomination forms to its candidates for contesting the upcoming national polls, even as the main opposition BNP had called for 84-hour strike to press their demand of holding the elections under a non-partisan caretaker government. The BNP had announced the strike on Saturday after police arrested its leaders, triggering violent protests across the country.
