New Delhi, Dec 14 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday met Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. Kejriwal said that AAP will form government in Delhi after getting response from the BJP and the Congress on all issues raised by his party. AAP has written letters to BJP chief Rajnath Singh and Congress chairperson Sonia Gandhi over unconditional support for passing Janlokpal Bill.

BJP hits back at AAP, says Kejriwal is arrogant

New Delhi, Dec 14 (ANI): The BJP on Saturday slammed AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal after he demanded response from the BJP and the Congress on issues raised by his party. After meeting Lt Governor Najeeb Jung, Kejriwal in a press conference had stated that he is awaiting response of his letter from both the parties now. Reacting on it, BJP leader Balbir Punj said that so much arrogance does not work in public life and added that Kejriwal thinks he is country's 'Bhagyavidhaata.'

AAP is scared of running govt in Delhi: Kirti Azad

New Delhi, Dec 14 (ANI): A day after the Congress party offered outside support to AAP in Delhi, BJP leader Kirti Azad said that if AAP is getting a chance to form the government they should form it. He also added that it seems the party is now scared to run the government in Delhi as its leaders are only 8th or 10th grade pass outs.

At least 6 killed in Mumbai high-rise building fire

Mumbai, Dec 14 (ANI): At least 6 people are feared dead while 25 others have been rescued in a major fire that broke out in the 26-storey Mont Blanc building, an elite residential high-rise in South Mumbai. Fire broke out on the 12th floor of the high-rise residential building on Friday causing damage to the property but there were no immediate reports of casualties. The fire fighters rushed to the site and struggled to douse the flames atop the building. It is being said that renovation work was being carried out on the 12th floor of the building which initiated the fire. There was a cylinder blast which further aggravated the mishap.

Hundreds protest in Pakistan after Abdul Quader Mollahs execution in Bangladesh

Karachi, Dec 14 (ANI): Hundreds of activists and supporters of Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami staged countrywide protests on Friday to condemn the execution of Bangladeshi Islamist leader Abdul Quader Mollah. Bangladesh executed Mollah on Thursday for war crimes he committed during the 1971 war of independence from Pakistan. In Pakistan’s commercial capital, Karachi, more than five hundred supporters of Jamaat-e-Islami took to streets after Friday prayers. Holding banners and party flags, they shouted slogans and held funeral prayers-in-absentia for Mollah. More than two hundred rallied in Lahore and dozens staged protest in the capital Islamabad while over one hundred protesters rallied in the city of Peshawar.

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday met Najeeb Jung and sought 10-day time to decide on government formation in Delhi.
