Aircraft makes emergency landing on highway in MP due to wind direction change

Betul, Dec 31 (ANI): A private plane in Betul district of Madhya Pradesh made an emergency landing on a national highway on Tuesday, following risk of accident due to change in the wind direction. After the plane took off, the strong winds went in the opposite direction and forced the pilot to land on the highway.

Police rescue construction workers abducted by Maoists in Jharkhand

Deoghar, Dec 31 (ANI): Police on Tuesday rescued seven labourers, who were abducted by Maoists from a construction site, after the team launched a joint search operation in Jharkhand. The workers were abducted on the night of December 22 while they were engaged in the construction of a bridge in Deoghar district of the state. Superintendent of Police, Prabhat Kumar, said that the abduction of construction workers might be related to levy.
