Mumbai, April 24 (ANI): It is a day of celebration for all cricket fans across the world as master blaster Sachin Tendulkar was born on this day in 1973. It has been 6 long months since the little master's retirement. There is hardly anything left which this veteran hadn't achieved in his illustrious career. From being the highest run scorer in both forms of cricket, along with making 100 centuries or even being the first batsman who was given out by a third umpire, the list is endless. Almost every record has been in his kitty. Sachin is the role model for many and this man made it a point to exercise his franchise even on this special day.

LS polls: Bollywood big wigs cast vote

Mumbai, Apr 24 (ANI): Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai came out to vote for the 16th Lok Sabha polls on Thursday. Among those who cast their votes were Preity Zinta, Rishi Kapoor, Prem Chopra, Ranbir Kapoor and Lyricist Gulzar. Polling began at 7 AM for the third and final phase of the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra, where 338 candidates are testing electoral waters in 19 Lok Sabha seats.

Political leaders cast their vote as India enters 6th phase of 2014 polls

Farrukhabad/ Mandsaur/ Mumbai/ Chennai, April 24 (ANI): As India entered into 6th phase of 2014 polls on Thursday, political leaders cast their vote with hope of a stable government at the centre. While Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid cast his vote from Farrukhabad, Congress candidate from Mandsaur Lok Sabha constituency Meenakshi Natarajan also cast her vote in a positive note. Practicing their franchise, NCP President Sharad Pawar also cast his polls in Mumbai along with Congress leader Milind Deora. Meanwhile, DMK leader Dayanidhi Maran also casted his poll and said that the fight is between the DMK and AIADMK in Tamil Nadu.
