Neha Dhupia Launches PETA's V Card

Neha Dhupia has teamed up with PETA India and unveiled India's first vegan discount card, PETA's V-Card. The V-Card gives cardholders a 10 per cent discount on vegan foods from special V-Card menus at numerous participating restaurants in Mumbai. Happy Ending movie review!

Saif ali khan, Govinda, Ileana D'Cruz, Kalki koechlin, Ranvir shorey, Kareena kapoor & Preity zinta, a very interesting cast and supposedly a very nice story that could have been made in to a very good film. but left to some standard bollywood treatment that as usual spoils... well... almost, most of it. But Happy Ending is not a total disappointment.

Oscar winning director Mike Nichols dies at 83

New Delhi, Nov 21 (ANI): Oscar winning director Mike Nichols who earned the Oscar for Best Director for "The Graduate," passed away at the age of 83. According to reports, the German-born US director, who was one of only 12 winners who had claimed all four major US entertainment awards: an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony, had a cardiac arrest, following which he died. Besides winning Oscar for ' The Graduate,' the director was also nominated for the award for 'Working Girl', 'The Remains of the Day', 'Silkwood' and 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?'. Nichols was born Michael Igor Peschkowsky in Berlin, where his parents had settled after leaving Russia. He came to the United States at age 7 when his family fled the Nazis in 1939. Apart from his wife, Nichols is survived by three children, and as per the reports, they would be having a small, private service this week.

Indian cinema beyond the confines of Hindi language: Amitabh Bachchan as IFFI kicks off in Goa

Panaji, Nov 21 (ANI): Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan endorsed the pan-Indian identity portrayed in cinema at the 11-day International Film Festival of India (IFFI) that kicked-off in the beach state of Goa. The event was inaugurated at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee stadium in Bambolim and offers a wide variety of 110 films including 28 Oscar entries. Speaking at the event, Bachchan, also the guest of honour, said Goa had a special place in his life as he went down the memory lane recalling his first film, 'Saat Hindustani', portraying struggle of seven Indians to liberate Goa from the Portuguese colonial rule. Meanwhile, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said cinema enlightens people many fold compared to the regular educational institutions. India's megastar, Bollywood and Tamil Cinema actor, Rajinikanth, was conferred with Centenary Award for Indian Film Personality of the Year.
