British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph may launch Bonneville T100 in India on October 18. The company has sent out press invites that hints at a new motorcycle launch which is touted to be Bonneville T100.
Triumph had unveiled Bonneville T100 at the Intermot show in Cologne earlier this month. The motorcycle will join entry-level Bonneville family in which other motorcycles are Bonneville T120, Street Twin and Thruxton R.
Bonneville T100's design has been influenced from the 1959 Bonneville. The motorcycle comes with the basic design of Bonneville T120 and it also uses the frame of T120. Bonneville T100 is powered by a 900 cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which produces 54hp at 5,900rpm and 80Nm of torque at 3230rpm mated to five-speed transmission.
The motorcycle is loaded with premium features such as the Ride-by-Wire technology, ABS, Switchable traction control, torque assist clutch and USB charging socket. The twin clock instrument cluster houses gear position indicator, odometer, trip settings, service indicator, clock and fuel level and traction control settings.
Bonneville T100 will be offered in three paint schemes - Aegean Blue and Fusion White, Intense Orange and New England White, and Jet Black. Street Twin is the most affordable Triumph motorcycle offered in India. T100 will bridge the gap between Street Twin and Bonneville T120 in the India line-up.
