The organisers of Renault Star Guild Awards, co-powered by Gionee Smartphones, have announced the nominations for the tenth edition of Star Guild Awards to honour the best talents in Indian Cinema and Television on Thursday.

The grand event will take place in January and Star Plus will telecast it. Comedian and host of the show "Comedy Nights with Kapil", Kapil Sharma will host the star-studded event.

According to Mukesh Bhatt, President of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India, 2014 was an incredible year, which witnessed the debut of 12 promising directors. He also expressed his excitement to attend the ceremony, which will honour the best talents of the previous year along with some amazing performances by the celebs.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut's "Queen", Aamir Khan's "PK" and Arjun Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer "2 States" are leading in the nomination list in 10 categories, followed by Alia's "Highway" and Shahid Kapoor's "Haider".
