Actress Amy Jackson, who will be seen playing the female lead in Shankar's upcoming film 2.0, is all praise for her co-stars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the multi-lingual movie.
Amy Jackson was addressing the media at the launch of the cover page of Health and Nutrition magazine, when she spoke about her 2.0 co-stars. The actress spoke of her experience working with Rajinikanth and praised him for his humility. "He is very humble and soulful person," IANS quoted the actress as saying during the event.
"Before releasing the first look, when we were shooting a scene, which involved Rajinikanth and me. I asked him, 'Sir, are you excited to release the first look?' He said 'Actually Amy, I am very nervous. I get very nervous when I have the media attention.' I was surprised. I said you're a superstar and you shouldn't be. He said 'Yes but I am nervous.' This means he is such a humble person," Amy Jackson added.
Meanwhile, Amy Jackson named Akshay Kumar, when asked about the fittest Bollywood actor. "Akshay Kumar has sustained the tag from the moment he started. He actually lives by that mantra. His action sequences are best in Bollywood. When we were shooting 'Singh is Bling', he was always on set before anybody else after doing 2 hours workout. He is a big inspiration."
Amy Jackson, who made her acting debut with Madrasapattinam, is one of the most sought after actresses in Tamil films. She has also starred in some Bollywood movies and teamed up once with Akshay Kumar in Singh Is Bliing. However, this is the first time she is working with Rajinikanth. She has almost wrapped the shooting for the movie 2.0, which is scheduled to be released in theatres during Diwali 2017.
