Bollywood remakes have become old news, so director Luv Ranjan brought the iconic movie – Hum Aapke Hain Koun in a modern package. How nobody didn't notice this Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit starrer in it new version?

The answer is Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Luv Ranjan recently told Mumbai Mirror that he used the essence of Rajshri films in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

This one also has Alok Nath, but in a different avatar and like Salman-Madhuri's film, this one also deals with friendship, romance and family.

Luv said,"The language of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is mine, with the essence of Rajshri films. Their films have been a significant part of Indian households, including mine. I hope this depiction makes people laugh."

Report further stated that Luv Ranjan's style of bindaas characterization of the family members in the film makes it as a modern-day Hum Aapke Hain Koun...!

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety garnered appreciation from viewers, although it received a mixed response from critics. It was also compared with the Pyaar Ka Punchnama films. It starred PKP 2 actors -- Nushrat, Kartik and Sunny Singh in lead roles.

Meanwhile, the movie has turned out to be a hit. However, nobody noticed that it might have a glimpse of Hum Aapke Hain Koun.

Interestingly, a few days ago, reports of remaking Salman-starrer was doing the rounds. Rajshri Productions had actually conducted a poll on Facebook and Twitter, in which they asked the moviegoers whether they would like to see Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt or any other onscreen pair in the remake of Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!

This made fans upset and they requested to not remake and ruin the iconic film. Well, we too agree that sometimes these classics should remain untouched.
