A teacher of the Vimala Hridaya Higher Secondary School in Kollam has been arrested for allegedly molesting his students.
Following the complaints of four school students and their parents, computer science teacher Tijo was arrested on Monday, 23 November. Before the arrest, he was also attacked by parents and other residents.
The school management has reportedly said that Tijo will be dismissed from the job soon.
It was only last year that Tijo joined as a computer teacher in the school and locals claim that the management was trying to hide rape accusations even though complaints against the teacher were made to the authorities before.
