Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd on Tuesday reported a net profit of Rs 6,055 crore for the second quarter of this fiscal, posting 14.5% growth over last year and 6.1% sequentially under the Indian accounting standard.

In a regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the global software major said its revenues for the quarter under review also increased 14.1% over last year and 5.8% sequentially, to Rs 27,165 crore.

Under the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) net income grew 6.2% over last year and 3.2% sequentially to $926 million, while revenues grew 5.8% over last year and 3% sequentially to $4.16 billion.
