Tata Motors has been teasing parts of a mysterious Nexon variant from last week. All we know is that it will be a limited edition model and it will get Neon Green coloured highlights. Tata Motors is all set to launch the limited edition Nexon tomorrow (September 5) while images of the compact SUV have already been leaked online.

The leaked images and the letters along with each teaser from Tata Motors confirmed the special edition will be called as Kraz (pronounced as 'craze'). A report in Rushlane claims the Tata Nexon Kraz edition is based on the XT trim and it will be offered in two variant options -- Kraz and Kraz+.

Tata Motors will launch the Nexon Kraz edition on the occasion of the compact SUVs' first anniversary. The highlight of the Nexon Kraz edition will be the Tromso Black body colour and Metallic Grey roof finishes.

The Neon Green touches at rear view mirror caps, front grille and at wheels perfectly contrasts to the black body colour. Kraz or Kraz+ badging at the tailgate completes the exterior additions.

Inside the cabin, Tata Nexon Kraz edition will get Neon Green touches at air-con vents and Kraz badging on the centre console. The seat fabrics will get Neon Green contrast stitching while the door pad, centre console and steering wheel will get Piano Black accents.

Since the Tata Nexon Kraz edition is based on XT variant, the limited edition will miss out features like touchscreen infotainment system, roof rails, cooled and illuminated glovebox, rear air vents and others.

Tata Motors currently retails the Nexon XT at Rs 7.63 lakhs for petrol and Rs 8.55 lakhs for the diesel (ex-showroom Delhi). A marginal increase in price over the XT variant is expected with the Nexon Kraz edition.

There are no changes expected in mechanics in the limited edition version of the Nexon. The compact SUV draws power from either a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine or a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated diesel mill.
