A lot has been written about Tata Motors' upcoming Kite hatchback and sedan. The Kite twins, which are expected to enter the market during the festive seasons of this year, are currently being tested on the roads in various parts of India.

Now, the latest rumour doing the rounds on the internet is that Tata has registered two new names, Zica and Sway, and this could be the probable names of Kite hatch and sedan. MotorOctane reports that while Zica means 'extension', the meaning of Sway is 'To Control'.

Although nothing is official as yet as Tata is testing them under the codename of Kite, the probability of the upcoming Kite twins being named Zica and Sway cannot be ruled out. It also should be noted that Tata had also registered names like Buck, Razzle, Haze and Woo.

Tata Kite is expected to include the company's new 1.05-litre three-cylinder common-rail diesel motor, which can churn out power of 64.1bhp and 14.27kgm of torque, and the all-new 1.2-litre petrol engine. The Kite hatch is likely to get an e-clutch system similar to AMT and is expected to be priced around ₹4 lakh.
