The makers of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy starring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara have launched its much-awaited teaser at a grand function, which is live-streamed on YouTube today.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a trilingual period film, which is directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan under the banner Konidela Production Company. This happens to be Chiranjeevi's next movie to be released after blockbuster film Khaidi No 150 and the mega fans are eagerly waiting for the release of its teaser.
Ram Charan announced the launch date of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy on the Twitter handle of Konidela Pro Company on August 14. The actor-turned-producer tweeted, "Unveiling the teaser of #SyeRaaNarasimhaReddy on 21st August at 11:30AM #MegastarChiranjeevi #SyeRaaJourneyBegins #HappyIndependenceDay #SyeRaa."
Ram Charan launched the teaser of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy at 11.30 pm today. Addressing the event, he said, "As you know, today is my father Chiranjeevi's birthday. We decided to release the teaser of the movie on this occasion."
Ram Charan said, "We are planning to release the movie in Summer 2018. We are struggling hard to make it on time. You are all excited and I assure you that it will reach your expectations. Not many know about Narasimha Reddy. The movie will show how he was as a fighter."
"Parachuri brothers came to me and my father Chiranjeevi several times and narated many stories. Everytime, they use to ask me whether we accepted the story. But we kept postponing it due to various issues including budget and technicians. But I would like to make it clear if this project is happening, they are reason for it. They proved that anything is possible, if there is perseverence."
Talking about Surender Reddy, Ram Charan said, "Any director will jump up and accept the offer to my father Chiranjeevi. But when I approached Suri, he had a second thought about directing it. The reason is that the movie has a big story, which itself is a hero of the movie. He was doubtful whether he will be to do justice to it. After few days, he came back me and agreed to direct it."
Addressing Sye Raa teaser launch, director Surender Reddy said, "I want to talk a lot about this film. I am really proud to be directing Sye Raa. Megastar Chiranjeevi is putting his heart and soul for this movie. After watching Chiru's work, I feel that I have learnt very little and this film is equal to ten films for movie."
Chiranjeevi's wife Sureka Said, "The teaser is really good and it cant be explained in words. Thank you director Surender Reddy. I can't wait to watch this movie."
VFX supervisor Kamal Kannan said, "This film has been very close to my heart for several months. I thank Ram Charan and Surender for giving me this opportunity. It is a fabulous feature and I wish many more success to the team."
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is based on the life of freedom fighter from Rayalaseema, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara are playing the lead roles in the movie, while Tamannaah, Pragya Jaiswal, Jagapati Babu, Vijay Sethupathi and Sudeep essay supporting roles.
