California-based Swipe Telecom has launched another budget tablet in the Indian market for ₹6,990.

The Android tablet, called Halo Speed, sports a 7-inch multi-touch capacitive display and is powered by a 1.5GHz processor. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and packs 1GB RAM along with 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD. It supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and packs a 3,000mAh battery. In terms of image sensor, the table packs a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera. The device is available for purchase from various retailers across India.

Earlier in March, the company launched another budget tablet called Halo Value with the same price tag. The tablet, measuring 197x124x10.9 and weighing 335 grams, packs a 7-inch full-HD TFT LCD multi-touch capacitive display and is powered by a 1.5GHz processor.

The tablet comes with the face-unlocking feature which allows users to access the tablet by using the face-recognition mechanism. It uses Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and has 512MB DDRII RAM with internal memory of 4GB on board which is expandable up to 32GB through a microSD card slot. It also has support for Bluetooth 2.1, WIFI 802.11 b/g/n and 2G. Swipe's Fablet F2 and Fablet F3 are priced ₹7,590 and ₹9,290, respectively.

Swipe Fablet 2 comes with a 5-inch WVGA capacitive multi-touchscreen with 480x800 pixel resolution and is powered by a 1GHz processor. It runs on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system, packs 256MB of RAM and an internal memory of 4GB. On the other hand, Fablet 2 uses Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean operating system and packs 512 MB DDRIII RAM.
