Suspicious Partner, the SBS crime thriller series, will be back with episodes 5 and 6 next Wednesday, May 17, at 10 pm KST. It will revolve around the blossoming romance between Eun Bong Hee and Noh Ji Wook.

In episodes 3 and 4, the Korean period drama focused on the various challenges faced by the female protagonist after she became a murder suspect. She had to deal with the demise of her boyfriend and being framed for his death.

Although the prosecutor trainee reached out to her mentor for help, he did not really try to prove her innocence. Instead, he took the opportunity to hurt her by collecting evidence against her.

Through the flashback sequences, the viewers learn that Noh Ji Wook became a public prosecutor for his father, who was murdered by a criminal. In his entire life, he fought for justice.

However, Ji Chang Wook's character could not be sincere with Eun Bong Hee mainly because he was threatened by his senior prosecutor Byun Young Hee, who urged him to prove her the killer. So, he decided to rekindle his relationship with fellow prosecutor Ji Eun Hyuk.

Noh Ji Wook asked Choi Tae Joon's character to become the defence attorney of Eun Bong Hee. He even tried to help them and the female protagonist was very confident during the trial. But things took a turn after the male lead submitted evidence against her in court.

Later, Ji Chang Wook's character stood up and admitted to the judge that he is hiding something that could prove Eun Bong Hee's innocence and the judge sets her free.

Towards the end of episode 4, Noh Ji Wook tells the prosecutor trainee that their relationship is ill-fated and they should ignore each other as much as possible to be happy in life.
