After the success of kdrama, "She was Pretty", it seems Choi Siwon wants to stay out of media glare. A recent news report suggests that the Super Junior member will enlist in the military on Thursday, 19 November, and will do so quietly.

An official announcement from SM Entertainment read: "Choi Siwon and Changmin will be enlisting without any official event for fans and reporters. Both have expressed their desires to enlist quietly, so we ask that you respect their decision and not mistake it for a schedule," reported Soompi.

Siwon and TVXQ band member, Changmin will not hold any official event for their fans before they join the military.

According to a news report, Siwon will serve as a conscripted police officer for 21 months, which is one of the many options available under the two-year mandatory military service in Korea.

Recently, the 29-year-old actor/singer has been witnessing a wave of love from fans, for portraying the role of a journalist in "She was Pretty."

The actor, overwhelmed by the response, said in an interview, "I didn't know that I would become this loved for 'She Was Pretty.' I am happy to have done a good job before going away on duty. I'll be back," reported Kdramastars.

The "Swing" singer showed his solidarity and support for the victims of the Paris attack, which took place late night on Friday, 13 November. On his Instagram account, he posted a picture and captioned it: "#prayforparis."
