Salman Khan has again proved that he is the king of box office. His latest release "Sultan" has become the fastest Rs. 200 crore earner at the box office. The sports drama, also starring Anushka Sharma, has earned Rs. 200 crore nett at the domestic box office in just seven days and earned double the production cost.

Yash Raj Films' production "Sultan" has earned double the production cost, which amounts to Rs. 90 crore, including Printing and Advertising, in just six days of its domestic box office. "Sultan" also became the fastest Rs. 200 crore grosser, by earning it in just seven days. Till Monday (six days), the Salman-Anushka starrer minted Rs. 195.90 crore and adding Tuesday's collection, the film has hit the double century mark.

"#Sultan Wed 36.54 cr, Thu 37.32 cr, Fri 31.67 cr, Sat 36.62 cr, Sun 38.21 cr, Mon 15.54 cr. Total: ₹ 195.90 cr. India biz. SENSATIONAL!" trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, adding: "As you read this, #Sultan crosses ₹ 200 cr mark today [Tue; Day 7]... Week 1 [9 days] should close at ₹ 235 cr [+/-], making it an ATBB."

The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has also surpassed the lifetime business of big Bollywood films like "Dabangg 2" (Rs. 155 crore), "Tanu Weds Manu Returns" (Rs. 150.77 crore), "Bang Bang" (Rs. 181.03 crore), "Bajirao Mastani" (Rs. 184.16 crore) and "Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani" (Rs. 188.57 crore). The Salman-Anushka starrer is now the 11th highest grosser of all time at the domestic box office.

If the film manages to record the same occupancy on Tuesday, as it did on Monday, then it will overtake the lifetime collections of four other biggies, which includes "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo," "Happy New Year," "3 Idiots" and "Ek Tha Tiger." The film, which had an extended weekend, is looking forward to roundup its first week with a box office collection of approximately Rs. 235 crore.
