Salman Khan's "Sultan" has become a talking-point lately. More than the superstar's rugged avatar, it's the speculation around the film's leading lady that's grabbing headlines.

Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra, and Kriti Sanon are some of the names that have been associated to the Yash Raj Films' production.

While the makers are still on the lookout for a suitable face, news is "Bigg Boss 9" contestant Mandana Karimi is being considered as Salman's leading lady for the film.

"Since the makers wanted a fresh face, there is a chance that they'd consider Mandana for the role," a source told The Asian Age.

This could be a possibility considering how much the "BB9" host favours and defends the Iranian beauty. The housemates of the controversial show have even tagged her as 'Salman's favourite'.

However, the actor never claimed she was his favourite and even went on to clear his stand one time saying he could never choose between the celebs.

In other news, Parineeti's recent fitness photo shoot was being branded as an audition for the upcoming action-drama but apparently she never made the cut as the makers wanted a new face.

If she cracks it, "Sultan" would be Mandana's third film as she has already worked in two – "Bhaag Johnny" and "Kya Kool Hain Hum 3", which is scheduled to be released on 22 January, 2016.
