Salman Khan has been at the centre of controversy ever since he showed his support for "Bigg Boss 9" contestant Mandana Karimi. The viewers have slammed the superstar for defending her case every other weekend.

Now, the question is whether he has taken a special interest in the Iranian beauty?

"Every year, there is a stunning Bigg Boss contestant whom Salman favours, someone like an Elli Avram or Gauhar Khan. Salman's bonding with a particular kind of Bigg Boss contestant is by now an established pattern on the show," The Asian Age quoted a source as saying.

Prince Narula, who often expresses his displeasure over the little annoying things Mandana does, was targeted by the "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" actor in the weekend gone by. He was questioned for flicking the lady's clothes from her bag, almost ripping them apart.

The "Splitsvilla 8" winner wasn't too impressed with the way he was told off for his rude behavior. Evicted contestant Puneet Vashist grabbed headlines for calling Salman biased. The actor also said how one has to be in the 49-year-old's good books to survive the cut-throat competition in the mad house.

"Everything is finalised according to Salman. I am not saying the show is scripted but you really need to be in the good books of Salman to last on this show! Last year Gautam Gulati won the show because he is so much like a version of Salman. Toh socha hoga haan chalo yeh meri tarah hai and he won! This year I am so sure Salman is going to make Mandana Karimi win," Bollywood Life quoted Puneet as saying.
