'Don't judge or criticise anyone's devotion': Sudha Chandran on being trolled for crying uncontrollably and biting during Mata ka Jagraninstagram

On Sunday, veteran TV actress Sudha Chandran's videos showed her in a trance-like state during a Mata Ki Chowki that she hosted. In the viral videos, she was seen uncontrollably crying, laughing, and completely immersed in a trance state. She was also seen biting while a woman held her tightly.

Another viral clip showed Sudha jumping around the hall, unable to control her emotions. She was seen wearing a red and white saree, along with a headband across her forehead that read Jai Mata Di.

The videos shocked and surprised fans. While many mocked and trolled her, claiming that she was faking it and acting, others said that since she had kept a Mata Ki Chowki, many don't know that it's believed to be a moment when "mata aa gayi hai."

Days later, the actress finally addressed the criticism and told Zoom, "It is a moment everyone wants to live in. Maa Shakti aapke andar aake voh energy de rahi hai. I am one of those blessed souls, aur mere zariye logon ko voh blessings mil rahi hai. It is the happiest moment of my life."

Addressing the trolls, Sudha Chandran stated that she is not here to justify herself. She explained that she has her own perception of life and certain connections she respects, adding, "Mujhe logon se koi lena dena nahi hai. Joh troll karte hai, acchi baat hai, khush rahe apne zindagi mein. What about those millions of people who could connect and resonate with it? Mere liye voh important hai." ("I have nothing to do with what people say. Those who troll me, it's fine, I hope they stay happy in their own lives.")

"Devotion is a personal issue. I don't judge or criticise anyone's devotion. I am not answerable to anyone's questions or trolls. I am a self-made woman, and I will continue living my life with dignity, respect and blessings from the divine," she concluded.
