Director Amar Kaushik's Hindi movie Stree starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurrana, has received positive review and rating from the audience.
Stree is a horror comedy film that is based on the Indian urban legend, Nale Ba, about a witch who knocks on people's doors at night. Dinesh Vijan, Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have produced the movie unde their banners Maddock Films and D2R Films. The movie has received a U/A certificate from the censor board and its runtime is 2.10 hours.
Stree movie story: Stree is familiar with the fables of a strange woman in Chanderi. She calls men by their name and abducts them, leaving their clothes behind. Nobody knows any facts - and those who are abducted seldom show up to tell stories but the fear is palpable. Everybody diligently makes sure the inscription O Stree, Kal Aana (O Woman, Come Tomorrow) is written on their walls, and at night try and stay indoors.
Analysis: Stree has a brilliant plot that is a perfect blend of horror and comedy and director Amar Kaushik has done good job in executing it on screen. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor have delivered superb performances, which are the highlights of the film. The film has good production values and music, picturisation, dialogues and special effects are the attractions, say the audience.

#Stree is such a smart, smart SMART film! Don't remember the last time I enjoyed a movie so intelligent and full of wit. It is hair raising scary and side splitting funny. It proves that all the people associated with it— @RajkummarRao, Pankaj Tripathi, @ShraddhaKapoor, @Aparshakti— are really 'cinema kay rakshak'. Please watch it. This #Stree is asking for it. Finished watching #Stree It has everything what one expect from a Film to enjoy 2 hrs in theatre. I bet you won't find a Single Negative review of #Stree This one is Winner all the way. Amar Kaushik has done it. Full review soon. 7/10* If i tell you now then it will kill all the fun of watching the film. #Stree 2nd half is full of Surprises, you will get an Anwer of who is Shraddha but after Climax again the same question arises that Who is Shraddha after all??? Like i said again, Post Climax there is 1 scene where the same question arises again that Who is Shraddha? Was she really something what was shown in 2nd half, or is she a Bhoot? @RajkummarRao has totally rocked in the Film Those quicker dialogues in North Accent, that cuteness while romancing and most importantly that Frightened and Confused attitude in Scary scenes.. Conviction of #DineshVijan #RajDK in him and the subject pays off well. A non-stop unique entertainer- 1 #Stree - @RajkummarRao shows once again that he is the man for all seasons. He come up with an impeccable flawless act and is just the perfect actor for the small town character that he plays in the film. He is hilarious in comic scenes and also does well at dramatic points. #Stree - @ShraddhaKapoor moves away from the kind of characters that she has played in the past and gets into a mysterious zone. Her part is unidimensional, and had it been more explained it would have been even better. She does well overall though. #Stree - Film has a terrific first half and a superb interval point. Second half is good too and so is the climax which is unique and very interestingly laid out. The epilogue sequence lays grounds for the sequel though it could have been a little more elaborate for clarity #Stree - Overall, the film is an innovative blend of horror and comedy that brings in a new dimension to the genre. Casting is perfect, pace is good and narrative quite entertaining. Go watch it for some fun times - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
