Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown announces split with Jacob Sartorius after 7 months

British actress and fashion model Millie Bobby Brown has parted ways with pop singer Jacob Sartorius. The duo confirmed their split on their Instagram stories.

The 14-year-old Stranger Things star wrote: "The decision with Jacob and I was completely mutual. We are both happy and remaining friends."

"The decision w mills was completely mutual & we are both happy and remaining friends [sic]," Sartorius stated in his Instagram stories message.

In October 2017, Brown had posted a photo of 15-year-old Chapstick singer, born Rolf Jacob Sartorius, on her Instagram story that sparked rumours of their relationship. Brown had later confirmed their relationship in January after posting a black and white selfie of them on her Instagram story. She had also decorated the picture with three red hearts.

Following this, Sartorius posted a sweet message on Instagram, for her 14th birthday in February. He wrote: "Happy birthday to this beautiful girl, 14!! you're the funniest, most caring person in the entire world. I hope this year brings you lots of great memories and moments you remember forever. Can't wait to see you, I love you and miss you so much!! Everybody go wish this girl a happy birthday @milliebobbybrown ❤️"

The former couple grabbed eyeballs in May after Brown posted a photo of herself kissing Sartorius romantically on the beach. She wrote: "Moonlight with him."

Pop singer Ariana Grande joked about how things were different when she was growing up. The 24-year-old singer commented on the post and said: "I wasn't even allowed to leave my house till I was 20."

Brown removed the post and later uploaded a picture in which she is seen hugging her then-boyfriend on the beach. She wrote: "im alright, but even better w u [sic]"
