After becoming the surprise-hit show on Netflix, fans of Stranger Things are eagerly looking forward to season 2 wondering what it will serve on their plate. As the Netflix show will be back on Halloween, the show creators Duffer Brothers hinted to make it spookier.

In a podcast from Variety named Remote Controlled, Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer promise to introduce more monsters in the upcoming season which will be scarier than the Demogorgon. "A lot of the story for Season 2 was figured before the show had come out, so we had the big beats figured out already," explains Matt Duffer.

The show creators also admitted that there was a pressure of going to the first season as they suspected that nobody is going to watch it. And, "now the pressure is we know people are going to watch it. It's trying to make something that we think they're going to like," quipped Ross.

"The point is not to give everyone what they think they want. Because I don't think they really know what they want," Ross remarked alongside his brother Matt. "Hiding the monsters can be more effective than seeing them, so restraint can be a good thing. I can't talk too much about them, but they're cool."

Unfortunately, the next season of the Netflix show will not reprise the fan-favourite character Barb (played by Shannon Purser), as Matt explained: "There's no resurrecting Barb. It was really surprising how much she took off. I related to her, so I think other people did as well."

The second season of Stranger Things which will air on October 21, features Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, and Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair.
